Approach to Care
Approach to care is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in the latest evidence-based psychiatric practice. By the time most people schedule a psychiatric evaluation, they have often been struggling with their symptoms for months—or even years. What may have started as occasional anxiety, low mood, difficulty focusing, or emotional distress has gradually become something that affects daily life, relationships, work, school, or overall well-being.

During your evaluation, we look at your unique experiences, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. We will determine whether medication is appropriate as part of your treatment plan. If medication is recommended, we use the most current evidence-based guidelines, selecting treatments that best fit your specific diagnosis, symptoms, lifestyle, and overall health.
Our goal is for you to leave your appointment with a clear understanding of your diagnosis, treatment options, and a personalized plan designed to help you regain control of your life and improve your quality of life.

Please note: We do not prescribe stimulant medications for ADHD such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, or Concerta. We do offer non-stimulant medication options to support focus, regulation, energy, and overall wellbeing.

At Ambiente Psychiatry, we understand that mental health is a journey. We’re here to support you every step of the way with compassionate, evidence-based, and holistic psychiatric care.
